Grid

Left click paints, right click erases. Clicking a tile that's already the picked one erases just that kind of tile as you drag (or in the Box), leaving the rest. Scroll with the mouse wheel (Shift + wheel goes sideways, Ctrl + wheel zooms), the arrow keys, the middle mouse button or the map of the whole level. Press a tile's key to pick it, or Alt + click a tile in the level (or use Pick). Exits (X) go on the edges; use a Doorway (O) for a house or a cave in the middle.

One screen is 30 × 17 tiles. Taller levels scroll up and down.

Each exit can say something of its own instead. A secret exit has no sign, so players have to find it.

Hints

Tips at the top of the screen. Each one shows from its column until the next hint. Pick the Hint tool and click in the level to add one. Drag up or down instead (or fill in the rows) for one that only shows when the player is in those rows, like down in a tunnel.

Play and share

▶ Play test is for you, to check your level: reach every exit at least once, so we know none of them is impossible. It doesn't give high scores.

Players who get your link only have to reach one exit to finish. High scores are on the link, and they belong to this exact level: change a tile or its test time and the link starts a new, empty list.
